R Praggnanandhaa supported Magnus Carlsen after the Norwegian's controversial table slam reaction during his Norway Chess defeat to D Gukesh.

Norway Chess 2025 saw D Gukesh script his maiden classical win against World No. 1 Magnus Carlsen. The reigning world champion had already lost to Carlsen in the opening round, but had other plans in Round 6, when they faced each other again.
