Her husband, Parag Tyagi, and mother, Sunita Jariwala, were heartbroken during the final rites, with Parag pleading for prayers for his 'angel.'

Mika Singh was visibly moved while leaving the crematorium on June 28 after attending the final rites for actress Shefali Jariwala. The singer paused to speak with reporters, expressing his deep sadness over her sudden passing and sharing a message that has resonated with many.

"She was only 42… gone so soon. No one knows the reason – only God knows. But one thing is certain… she will always remain alive in our hearts. May God grant peace to her soul," Mika Singh said.

Shefali Jariwala, famously known for her appearance in the Kaanta Laga music video, reportedly died of a sudden cardiac arrest between June 27 and 28. She was pronounced dead upon arrival at a Mumbai hospital.

Several touching moments from Shefali Jariwala’s funeral have been widely shared on social media. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, was seen kissing her forehead and breaking down while helping carry her bier. Another heartbreaking scene showed Shefali’s mother, Sunita Jariwala, overwhelmed with grief as she held her daughter’s body. Celebrities such as Arti Singh and Mahira Sharma also attended the funeral, clearly saddened by the loss.

After the funeral, a devastated Parag Tyagi addressed the media, requesting privacy with folded hands. He also pleaded, "Please, everyone, pray for my angel." Parag was surrounded by police personnel as he urged the media to pray for Shefali’s soul to rest in peace.

Shefali's final rites were held at the Oshiwara Crematorium in Mumbai, the same location where actor Sidharth Shukla’s last rites were performed in 2021.
