Priyanka Chopra is eagerly awaiting the release of her upcoming action-comedy, 'Heads of State'. The film, featuring John Cena and Idris Elba, is scheduled to premiere on July 2, 2025. However, before its global release, Chopra's family in India enjoyed an exclusive preview, leaving the actress with a touch of FOMO (fear of missing out).
A Family Screening in India
Priyanka's mother, Madhu Chopra, her brother Siddharth Chopra, and sister-in-law Neelam Upadhyaya, organized a special private screening of 'Heads of State' in India. The family members posed in front of the movie poster, expressing their excitement to watch Priyanka shine on screen.
Priyanka shared the moment on her Instagram, captioning the post with, "When your family hosts a screening back home. FOMO. Miss you all."
Priyanka discussed her experience working alongside John Cena and Idris Elba, describing it as "fantastic." She emphasized that she felt welcomed and comfortable on set.
The collaboration originated when Cena and Elba, who had previously worked together on 'Suicide Squad', sought another opportunity to collaborate. Producer Peter Safran recognized the potential and initiated the project, leading to the creation of 'Heads of State'. Priyanka expressed her enjoyment of being part of this project. Despite being the only woman among a predominantly male cast, she felt included and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Reviews for 'Heads of State' highlight its successful fusion of action and comedy. The film effectively balances both genres, ensuring neither overshadows the other. The comedic elements are largely driven by the witty exchanges between Elba and Cena, whose impeccable comic timing and chemistry contribute to the film's overall charm.
The film also features a variety of thrilling action sequences, including intense fights aboard Air Force One, high-speed train chases, and a lighthearted encounter with Polish punk teenagers. Each action scene promises to be captivating and engaging.
